Bornhorst + Ward has seven Directors who actively work within the Business. Ross Kynaston, Tony Avis, Brett Taylor, Nick Rozis, Paul Kelly, David Teakle and Andrew Bryant bring together over 170 years of combined civil and structural engineering expertise. David Teakle
David Graduated from the University of Queensland in 2002 before beginning his employment as a Structural Engineer at Bornhorst + Ward.
David became an Associate Director in 2010, followed by his appointment as Director in 2020.

Andrew Bryant
Andrew joined Bornhorst + Ward as a Cadet Draftsperson in 1994. He graduated with an Advanced diploma of Civil Engineering and became an Associate Director in 2012. He was then appointed Director in 2021.

Brett Taylor
Brett graduated from the University of Queensland in 1993. Since that time he has been employed at Bornhorst & Ward as a Structural Engineer and in 1999 he was appointed a Director.

Paul Kelly
Paul graduated from the National University of Ireland Galway in 2004. Paul has considerable experience as a Structural Engineer in both Ireland and Australia. He joined Bornhorst+Ward in 2011, where he was appointed an Associate Director in 2015 and Director in 2019.

Tony Avis
Tony joined Bornhorst & Ward in 1984 as a Cadet Draftsperson and completed studies at the Queensland University of Technology in 1988. In 1998 he was appointed Business Development Manager and in 1999 became Director.

Ross graduated from Queensland University in 1984. He commenced his employment with Bornhorst & Ward as a Structural Engineer. He was appointed an Associate Director in 1995 and a Director in 1997. Commenced: 1985
Nick Rozis
Nicholas graduated from the James Cook University in 1999. Since that time he has been employed at Bornhorst & Ward as a Civil Engineer. He was appointed an Associate Director in 2003 and Director in 2004.
