Through project involvement from day one, I have been given the opportunity to learn, question and gain experience on a variety of projects; all of which is integral to how Bornhorst and Ward mentors graduates to become accomplished engineers. Bornhorst and Ward, through their collaborative and technically proficient approach to project delivery, has allowed me to develop my technical and consultancy skills in addition to establishing the competencies required to continually move forward within this industry.

Since being employed by Bornhorst & Ward I have been provided with opportunities to progress both my technical knowledge and career. I have been afforded a hands on approach to my projects from day one, and have also been allowed to run all aspects of my projects early in my career. Support from other staff members in terms of project reviews and technical assistance has ensured projects can run smoothly and nothing was missed. A stable working base, collaborative approach and variety of projects has retained me as a long term employee of Bornhorst & Ward.

Since starting at B&W, I’ve been driven to continually improve and develop both my technical engineering and consulting expertise. While having project autonomy, collaborative team input into projects allows for different solutions ensuring nothing is missed. Also, the well-established internal systems make it easier to provide effective and innovative engineering solutions for our clients.
